
TOKYO (Reuters) – Japan’s parliament approved on Friday a record $300 billion second extra budget to fund a stimulus package aimed at cushioning the economic blow from the coronavirus pandemic.
The second supplementary budget for the current fiscal year that began in April, worth 31.9 trillion yen (236 billion pounds), will fund part of a $1.1 trillion relief package the government unveiled last month.
