The widespread adoption of digital assets by the global population is a topic that has generated a lot of buzz among the crypto community and the world at large.
With the recent news that Wall Street’s cooperation with the Bitcoin community will now be quite successful, a Dallas bank has stated that cryptocurrency regulations do not always stop the adoption of digital assets.
Gemini’s co-founders said that realistic regulations would help cryptocurrency
Gemini co-founders, Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, recently conducted an interview on a podcast series where they commented on the topic.
The twins argue that only practical and thoughtful measures and regulations can help cryptocurrency gain massive acceptance.
“If digital assets will enjoy massive adoption, we need to shelve some of these regulations that restrict it. We should have a kind of regulation that helps the coins grow without so many obstacles. Presently, people are scared of the crypto space and are over-regulating it, and that is what is killing the digital market.”
The Wall Street partnership with the Bitcoin community is a good move
The co-founders further stated that Wall Street’s partnership with the Bitcoin community is a welcome move for a major crypto adoption.
Recently, well-known Wall Street investor Paul Tudor revealed that he has invested heavily in Bitcoin, while JP Morgan launched the Bitcoin payment option available on its platform.
The twins noted that the partnership indicates a bright future for Bitcoin.
“My thoughts are major that most wall Street veterans are concerned about the massive printing of the US dollars, and we are concerned too. The truth is the matter is that there is little we can do about it, and if the presence of Wall Street in the crypto space is going to bring in more people, then it’s a welcome development,” Winklevoss said.
Currently, most people are aware of the cryptocurrency industry, but if the collaborations and publicity continue at this rate, then the Wall Street partnership with the Bitcoin community will be just the beginning of a true crypto revolution.
